I need help finding someone who is interested in a bunch of 1941 pistons to an engine from the u.s. navy military landing vehicle on tracks, (LVTA-4) AND (LVTA-5).

My grandfather bought alot of them at an aUCtion in 1961, hoping they would be worth alot of money one day.

he has now passed and my father inherited them and needs help finding out who might be interested. i would appreciate all the help i can get. im just a good kid trying to help out my dad.

THE piston assembly is 5 1/8" diameter bore, consist of piston (aluminum) 3 each of compression rings, 1 each of oil ring, 1 each piston pin, 2 each plugs, part of mod W670-9A , 7 CYCLINDER air cooled radial continental engine. power plant for landing vehincle tracked. continental motor part# 4925-A-3.

I HAVE approx 350 of these pistons. my grandfather bought these at Mcclellon air force base, in california. october 10th 1961. they are brand new never used 70 yrs old still wrapped in the old cosmoline.

I would really like 25 bucks a piston, lets make a deal. thanks for any help. we really appreciate it alot.
